Come and join us for an online hour of supportive chat, being heard and exploring how it feels to be the main or sole carer for your child. No judgement, no parenting advice, just a safe space to identify coping strategies, share your thoughts and replenish your energy.
Who is it for?
If you are a mum/parent/carer of at least one baby or small child, and you live in Bristol, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset or Bath and North East Somerset, it’s for you!
What will the sessions involve?

The sessions are led by Ruth Parham from the Barnardo’s Online Infant Feeding Support Service. Each one will be structured to include relevant information, time to chat in small groups and a brief, gentle activity to relax and refresh you. We have a rolling series of themes so you can join at any time during the 6 weeks, for one session or several.
These are not feeding support sessions – visit our online infant feeding support page for this.
What do I need to bring?
Come as you are - day clothes and hair-brushing completely optional! Bring your breakfast or your coffee, bring your little one and their breakfast too. Have a pen and paper handy if possible.
What tech do I need?
The sessions will take place on Zoom and you will be sent a joining link when you book. We ask everyone to join with cameras on so we can all see each other when we start.
How do I join?
To book a session, please use the form below. If you don’t see an option for a specific date, it means that session is full so please do join us on a different date.
You can also email GIFT@barnardos.org.uk if you have any questions.
