Always keep nappy sacks and other plastic bags away from your baby.

Nappy sacks are flimsy and can be easily caught by your baby as they wriggle their arms. Your baby will try to put anything they grasp in their mouth. If your baby grasps a nappy sack they can suffocate. They have not yet developed the ability to remove the sack from their airways. Keep nappy sacks out of reach of your baby and away from their cot or pram. Take particular care when changing your baby’s nappy.
